Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux-Saint-Jacques Gevrey Chambertin "Lavaux St Jacques" has a magnificient deep color. The smell is pure and you can find small black fruits, leather and spice aromas. Powerful and concentration go with a good tannic structure. Its lasting in the mouth is surprising. This powerful and perfumed wine requires elaborate and strong tasting food: leg of mutton, boeuf bourguignon, stew and strong cheeses (exept blue cheese). is an excellent on duty wine, this Premier Cru can age between 5 and 8 years following the age of the wine and keeping conditions.

Vosne-Romanee: With its ruby colour, it is a mild and very delicate wine. It will be perfect with roasts, game, red meats in sauce and most of cheeses. This wine will age between 5 and 10 years.

Beaune Clos des Ursules: The Beaune 1er Cru «Clos des Ursules» is a walled in portion of the Beaune 1er Cru «Vignes Franches». It was purchased in 1826 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot and has remained a solely owned property of the Jadot family. Beaune Premier Cru "Clos des Ursules" is a full, firm and rich wine. It is fine, with a slightly earthy bouquet and long, lush finish,  converge in a wine which perfectly balances elegance and power. It works harmoniously with delicate meat dishes as well as most cheeses. It will age well in a cellar (10-15 years) in good conditions. Seaway Special: $59.99

 

Beaune Bressandes This Premier Cru is an elegant wine, quite full in body with red fruit aromas, spices and vanilla notes. It will perfectly accompany delicate meat dishes as well as most cheeses. This wine can be drunk after five years and will easily age 10-15 years in good cellaring conditions.

Chassagne Montrachet "Morgeot" "Clos de la Chapelle" Blanc: «Morgeot» is one of the top two or three 1er Crus (climats) of the village. ‘Clos de la Chapelle' surrounds on old Chapelle. Domaine Duc de Magenta is a superb Domaine exclusively vinified and distributed by Louis Jadot on a long term contract basis. Inside the "Morgeot" 1er cru vineyard, Duc de Magenta owns the Monopoly (sole owner) of the ‘Clos de La Chapelle’. The Chassagne Montrachet 1er cru "Morgeot" ‘Clos de la chapelle' is a very well balanced wine, showing us a lot of concentrated aromas of honey, white fruit and flowers. This wine is full bodied, powerful and rich. It should be kept for special meals like foie gras, fish in cream sauces, shellfish and white meats in rich sauces. This wine will age for 10-15 years in good conditions of temperature and humidity.

Puligny-Montrachet: The wines of Puligny Montrachet are generally characterised by greater firmness and depth than those of Meursault, and by greater refinement and delicacy than those of Chassagne. They are characterised by very distinctive aromas : almond, fern, exotic fruit, amber and white flowers. The acidity in the mouth is rather subtle. These great wines are destined to honour Haute Cuisine as wonderful shellfish cooked in  bouillon, creamed and poached fish, poultry liver pâtés. Also with the tastes of very strong-smelling cheeses : Munster and mature Comté. This wine will certainly improve up to 5 to 8 years in a cellar.

Chassagne Montrachet: The traditional vinification in oak casks brings forth the rich, plump fruit and full body of the wine, which shows a vigorous, aromatic bouquet and persistent, earthy finish. This great wine should be kept for special meals : foie gras, entrées and fish in cream sauces, fine charcuterie and white meats in rich sauces. This wine can be aged for 8 to 12 years.

Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Vergelesses: The Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru « Les Vergelesses » is a round and rich wine, with apricots, peach, white flowers and spices aromas. It will match delicate veal shop, poultry in white wine sauce served with mushrooms, hot pâtés, terrine and mild cheese. It can be kept 4 to 10 years in good cellaring conditions.
